When Greta Bajrami was nine years old, she emigrated from her home country of Albania to the U.S during a time of war. Greta broke into a traditionally male industry during her senior year of college where she started her own business as a young female immigrant. Through emphasizing excellent customer service and building an elevated company culture, Golden Group Roofing soon became a multimillion-dollar company one of the most recognized roofing brands in Massachusetts.
Agata emigrated from Poland to the U.S. in 2003 by herself and without speaking any English. Agata worked for suppliers before working for a general contractor and during her time in these foundational jobs, Agata noticed a lack of quality workmanship, customer service and communication between contractors and suppliers. This all led her to form her own construction company that would elevate industry standards. Today, Agata is a wife, mother and business owner who supports her employees, provides excellent customer service and works with her suppliers, not against them.
Stephanie grew up next to her father, now business partner, on construction sites. From a young age, Stephanie witnessed the hard work in the field and the impact buildings can have on communities, creating within her a deep appreciation for building. Since then, Stephanie’s passion grew into a mission to enhance the service and trust within the construction industry, leading her to pursue projects like rehabilitating an elementary school in Mexico and re-constructing an elementary school playground in Costa Rica to mitigate flooding.
Jessica took over the role as president for Reid’s Roofing and Insulation after her husband, Calvin Reid, passed away in 2018. While she never expected to own a roofing company, she took the role with pride, building a highly successful and sought-out business in her husband’s name. Jessica ensures that her company maintains its representation for quality customer service, integrity and care.
When Camila was in middle school, she emigrated from Chile to the U.S. Her father started ASA Roofing Inc out of their tiny three-bedroom apartment with the hopes of building a home and a business for his family. Camila aided in running the business from a young age, working late nights and helping her parents communicate with customers with her English language skills. Camila is now the VP of their multimillion-dollar company which was recently voted the best home improvement contractor in Northern Virginia.
