Roofing Day is an advocacy event that allows roofing industry professionals to meet with lawmakers on Capitol Hill to address the critical issues facing our industry. We take this opportunity seriously, as it gives us the chance to interact with installers and peers while conveying important challenges to our national leaders.
We’re proud to be part of this important initiative. FiberTite’s parent, Seaman Corporation, is a longtime member and supporter of NRCA. This year, Roofing Day will focus on some of the most important concerns facing the roofing industry, including regulatory reform and solutions to workforce shortages. This is a wonderful chance to speak in one voice in an effort to help the roofing industry continue to thrive. Help us make a difference by joining us there.
Participants at Roofing Day spend time in a group on Capitol Hill, typically having a total of three to four meetings with legislators and staff from their districts and states. All scheduling is handled through the event, so all you have to do is register.
The inaugural Roofing Day in 2018 featured more than 400 participants, including FiberTite. A key takeaway was the passage of a bill to improve career and technical education, helping ensure that roofing providers are well staffed with qualified installers, inspectors and technicians.
