This year’s National Women in Roofing (NWiR) Day was a huge success and Fibergrate Composite Structures (along with Tremco CPG) was able to demonstrate some of their top safety products - including a Hatch Guard and DynaRail Guardrail systems.
According to Fibergrate, the DynaRound Hatch Guard “provides a non-penetrating, affordable solution to mandatory rooftop entry/exit protection. The hatch protection system can be easily set up and used for both temporary and permanent solutions. The self-closing gate eliminates the risk of accidental entrance. DynaRound Hatch Guard [also] does not require drilling into the roof and can be easily installed in an hour or less.” And because there is no drilling, the rooftop water integrity is not compromised. The Hatch Guard comes in multiple sizes including: 30-36" x 30-54," 42-48" x 42-60" and 30-36" x 96-114.” In addition to these sizes, the Hatch Guard is available in custom sizes as well. The Hatch Guard also meets safety requirements from OSHA, CAL/OSHA, and the National Building Code of Canada.
An installation demonstration at NWiR Day proved just how easy it is to install the Hatch Guard. During a breakout session, a team was able to set up the safety device in under an hour.
Fibergrate's demonstration of the Hatch Guard showcased the product's impressive features, ease of installation and its ability to meet important safety requirements. Overall, the Hatch Guard is a game-changing product for the roofing industry that provides enhanced safety and ease of use for workers on the roof. The demonstration at the event proved to be an invaluable opportunity for industry professionals to learn about the latest advancements in rooftop safety. By showcasing their products at NWiR, Fibergrate and Tremco are leading the way in ensuring worker safety and promoting innovative solutions in the roofing industry.
