Ethical AI use can boost business

RCS Influencer Allison Woslager says contractors can use AI for efficiency.

Alex Tolle: Hello, I'm Alex Tolle with RoofersCoffeeShop and I am here for our February influencer question, Allison, how are you?

Allison Woslager: I'm good. Alex, thanks so much for having me. How are you this morning?

Alex Tolle: I'm so good now that I'm talking with you. So our February question is how can contractors ethically integrate AI into their operations to improve efficiency without compromising trust, transparency or that human element?

Allison Woslager: Awesome! Well, thank you!

Allison Woslager: Yeah, absolutely. So I think that that's a really great question, especially with all of the buzz with artificial intelligence that's really kind of developing and kind of, you know, as quote unquote, people say, taking over the industry. So I think that the answer to your question is actually in the question. that contractors can just simply use AI for efficiency. They can use it to monitor, track, to follow up. Again, they can use it and implement it as a tool where it's not actually replacing that human element, it's just literally assisting the humans. I think that for us, we're a digital marketing agency and we specialize in the home service industry. We have a lot of roofing and building contractors who are our clients. so I think it's very important for those contractors and for their staff to kind of establish with both the employees as well as customers how and where AI is used and that AI is simply used to enhance our services and never replace our human expertise. And again, I think that when your employees can understand and fully utilize those tools to the best of their abilities where they actually are an advantage to them, then it streamlines their own jobs and makes their own careers a little bit more stream, you know, again, streamlined, helps them kind of get through things a little bit better.

Alex Tolle: Yeah, and it totally gives you more time to provide that human element with your customers because some of those, you know, tedious tasks are taken over by AI and then you have more time to do that face to face to improve your business and do all those great things.

Allison Woslager: Yes.

Allison Woslager: Absolutely. in a world where AI is so useful and it's so smart, one of the things in our agency that we use it for primarily is for research. We don't allow AI to write any of our articles or any of the content on any websites, but what we will use AI for is for dedicated research. And it's been a very useful tool in that way.
