One of the National Frame Building Association (NFBA)'s pillars is education. Through a collaboration with the University of Missouri, they hope to familirize people across the industry, builders, suppliers, designers, manufacturers, homeowners, building owners and more, with the concepts and terminology related to post-frame construction.
The first is the Basic Principles for Post-Frame Construction - Basic Self-Study Guide. This student online study guide was developed to compliment the material presented in the Basic Principles for Post-Frame Construction textbook from NFBA. The overall goal of this online study guide is to help the user identify the most important information in the book. This online study guide should also help one prepare for the certification exam as part of the NFBA builder certification program.
The second of the courses focuses on the NFBA Certification Exam - Level 1. This NFBA Level 1 Certification Exam tests the examinee's knowledge on post-frame building systems as presented in Basic Principles for Post-Frame Construction - Basic Self-Study Guide course offered as an online course within MU Extension. This level 1 exam covers topics from Chapters 1, 2, 3, 5 & 9 of the 'Basic Principles for Post-Frame Construction' textbook from NFBA.
The third and final of this series is the NFBA Certification Exam - Level 2. This NFBA Level 2 Certification Exam tests the examinee's knowledge on post-frame building systems as presented in Basic Principles for Post-Frame Construction - Basic Self-Study Guide course offered as an online course within MU Extension. This level 2 exam covers topics from all chapters of the 'Basic Principles for Post-Frame Construction' textbook from NFBA.
