Educational Resources to Help Start Selling Remotely

Now is the time to get the technology and services you need for your sales team to continue selling roofing, just remotely.

Ever since homeowners began sheltering in-place, the roofing industry has been stepping up to help the roofing contractors keep moving.  That means education and making sure your roofing business has the tools and technology they need to be successful in the age of social distancing.

TAMKO has stepped up with a number of tools to help contractors through these trying times.  First and foremost, they suggest roofing contractors look into a Customer Relations Management (CRM) software platform.  “Contractors need to focus on storing the important data of customer interactions and contact information.  It can make sending estimates, bids and invoices electronically much easier and faster,” stated Melissa Dunson, Manager of Marketing and Communications for TAMKO.  “Many CRMs offer remote selling procedures that include automated signature processes, the ability to order materials through integrations with suppliers while also providing visibility into job progress.  The key is to use the CRM features to help with continued communication with homeowners which in turn can help build good reviews and referrals.”
