Community comes together to repair roof for homeowner

A spontaneous act of generosity changes a homeowner's life forever and inspires community kindness. 

A simple roof inspection turned into an extraordinary act of kindness when a local roofing company, alongside its partners, came together to donate a new roof to a homeowner in desperate need. What began as a routine request for a quote turned into an inspiring display of community support, demonstrating the power of relationships to create meaningful change. 

The homeowner, who purchased the property in the winter, faced numerous challenges, starting with a leaky roof that worsened during heavy snowfall. "I knew the roof had some problems, but I didn’t know it was that bad until that snowfall," she explained. Overwhelmed with concerns about mold and potential health hazards, she started looking for a solution, despite being on a fixed income. Her troubles didn’t stop there, with leaks in the bathtub and sprinklers spraying under the house, adding to the growing list of repairs.

Thank you A&A, Beacon and PABCO for giving us this gift." Thanks to the team’s efforts, she now has a new roof with a 50-year warranty, a symbol of how a community came together to lift her burden.
