Case Study: 45% Conversion Rate on 270 Roofing Leads

How Dreamworks Restoration separated themselves online from their competition and converted 45 percent of 270 leads. 

Dreamworks Restoration is a general contractor that specializes in commercial and residential property claims, new construction, fire/water restoration, and remodels. They are based in the Northern Atlanta metro area and have been in business since the beginning of 2017. They are a new company but had an excellent first year in which they did $4 million in sales.

The problem

Jeremy Michael Gilstrap, the founder of DreamWorks Restoration, is always looking for innovative ways to grow his business. He would admit that he is not a computer person but he knew that the future of his business depended on implementing online marketing strategies for his business. He tried Facebook Ads and spend over 10K with no success. He ran the ads himself just boosting posts. 

He needed to find a way to separate his business from the hundreds of contractors in the Atlanta area. They are a traditional door knocking and canvassing company that was tired of being the 20th contractor that knocks on someone’s door. He knew they need to make changes and adapt to today’s internet driven world.

The solution

Roofing Marketing Pros used the Automatic Roofing Job Generator Marketing system for great results. We created a Google AdWords campaign focused on 40-mile radius around their office. We created two AdWords campaigns for residential and commercial with two separate landing pages with dynamic text replacement. This helped facilitate higher conversion rates. 

We only targeted keywords geared towards people at the top of the buying cycle. We developed an extensive negative keyword list along with custom ad copy to exclude the wrong type of traffic. We implemented call tracking and form submissions to measure the effectiveness of the campaign. We also implemented Google Remarketing to help increase conversion rates

Results

From January 8 to August 1, 2018 we generated the following:

  • 201 Inbound Calls
  • 59 Residential Web Leads
  • 10 Commercial Web Leads
  • Total 270 Leads 
  • 45% Conversion Rate 
  • Is on track to double his sales from $4 million to $8 million

Conclusion

DreamWorks Restoration Contractors is a new company that has taken their market by the balls. They are willing to learn and try new things to maximize the results of their business. They were skeptical of online marketing just like most contractors but were willing to try and were patient enough to see the results.
