Explore the unique features and benefits of Brava Tiles' new product line, unveiled at the International Builder Show.

At the 2024 International Builder Show, Heidi J. Ellsworth from RoofersCoffeeShop® has a conversation with Lee Martucci, the vice president of business development for Brava Tiles, who shares insightful details about the innovative roofing solutions that Brava has been working on. With enthusiasm, he introduces the Aspire P interlocking composite paver system, an innovation set to revolutionize rooftop aesthetics and functionality.

“It’s been a tremendous show, extremely busy, and we’ve had a fantastic response from people visiting our booth,” Lee expressed.

Brava's new product line includes the patented grid system, designed for perfect alignment and easy installation. "This grid does a couple of things,” Lee explained. “First, it allows for perfect alignment, which is crucial for aesthetic consistency. And look how easy this is to put in place. We can create various patterns, which adds to the visual appeal while maintaining the functionality."

Lee also highlighted the lightweight nature of the Aspire P system, which is crucial for rooftop applications. “It’s heavy enough that it’s not going to blow away in over 100 mph wind speeds but also light enough so it doesn’t require extra reinforcement on the roof,” he said. This feature is built to reduce structural strain and installation complexity.

Beyond its practical benefits, the system's environmental impact was a focal point of discussion. Made from 95% recycled materials, primarily tires and post-industrial plastic, the product represents a leap forward in sustainable building materials. “It’s very durable, it’s not going to chip or break like concrete, and it’s incredibly low maintenance,” Marucci added. The Aspire P system, with its innovative design and eco-friendly composition, stands out as a testament to Brava's commitment to advancing the building industry's standards.
