Karen: We're live and we're seeing my fancy face here. So you turn it around.

Heidi Ellsworth: Hi. You just saw Karen. Yeah, we're live. We are live at NERCA. This is Heidi Ellsworth and I'm with Michael and Carm with ACT Metal Deck Supply.

Michael: Good morning.

Carm: Morning. Hello.

Michael: Good afternoon, actually.

Heidi Ellsworth: So we're at NERCA live in Connecticut, and this is what our hundredth show of the year so far, that we've been together on?

Carm: Seems like it.

Heidi Ellsworth: Feels like that.

So how's the show going for you?

Michael: It's going well. It's still exciting to have people around and be at events where people are showing up and the contractors and everybody's upbeat. And just about everybody sounds busy.

Carm: Busy.

Heidi Ellsworth: Yeah.

Michael: So it's very nice to hear all that. We're at a new facility, new casino this year. Looks like it's brand new, it's a beautiful place.

Heidi Ellsworth: I know, it's beautiful.

Michael: It's a beautiful state.

Heidi Ellsworth: Yeah, everything. The water. We actually do have a view of the water. I couldn't tell last night at one o'clock in the morning when we got in, but it's beautiful. And so, okay. What we'd like to do is for all the people who can't come to NERCA, we want them to get a little taste of the show and ... kind of thing. So I would love it if - I'm a contractor and I'm walking in and what are you saying to the nice contractors about your products and what you're doing and how you can help them?

Michael: Very good. So, obviously, we provide metal deck for the roofers only in re-roofing, not in new construction. So, usually when a roofing contractor realizes that the deck underneath the roof needs to be replaced, now the job's on hold, and they need it right away. So, we remind them that we have inventory in 11 states and we can have it to their job with one phone number anywhere they're at, same day or the next day.

Heidi Ellsworth: That's good.

Michael: For us, as a supplier, it's so nice to come to an event like this that is a multi-state. Because we just talked to customers from Vermont, New Jersey, New York, all in the same place. And it's just great to see everyone in the same place when we may not be able to get to their office, regularly.

Heidi Ellsworth: Yeah. Speaking of which, right here. National network.

So this is great. You can get everybody there. And what are you hearing from the contractors? You said business is good. A lot of re-roofing commercial.

Carm: Great backlogs. The weather's been fantastic. Getting some work done. Looking forward to the year. Everyone seems happy and ready to go.

Heidi Ellsworth: We're Hearing the same thing.

Michael: Yeah, it's nice.

Heidi Ellsworth: I like it.

Michael: It's nice. Absolutely.

Heidi Ellsworth: We've decided we're going to boycott the news. We're just not going to participate in all that news stuff. And because in roofing, life is good. And people are working, and they're busy.

Michael: A lots going on. And up here, as we know, Mother Nature is pretty feisty. So with freeze/thaw cycles is what affects a lot of roofing contractors. But when it gets down to the metal being rusted ... So, the economy doesn't have a lot to do when you have two feet of snow. Things need to get done.

Heidi Ellsworth: You got to fix it.

Michael: But here we do have one quick surprise.

Heidi Ellsworth: Oh, there we go.

Michael: We are going to show off our hats.

Heidi Ellsworth: Yes.

Michael: And we're going to get documentation and footage.

Heidi Ellsworth: You guys have the best swag.

I have a big head and it fits.

Carm: I have a lot of hair.

Heidi Ellsworth: Yay.

Michael: On three say metal deck on three. 1, 2, 3 Metal Deck.

Carm: Metal Deck.

Heidi Ellsworth: Metal Deck.

I love it. Can I keep it?

Carm: Yeah.

Michael: Yes. Of course.

Heidi Ellsworth: Okay. I love it. I have my pink one, too, that I wear.

One more thing, one more question.

Michael: Thanks for playing with me on that.

Heidi Ellsworth: Thank you. Seriously, you are the biggest supporter of associations, and especially state associations. You're at all the shows. So, just give us a quick, like Where are you going to be in the next couple months? Where are some of the shows you're going to be at? So, people out here, who aren't able to come, may be able to find you, at their next show.

Michael: Why don't we back up? Where have we been, already?

Carm: We've been in Chicago, we've been in the Carolinas, we've been here at NERCA, we're going to Oklahoma, we're going to ABC Supply, we're going to Florida, we're going to Midwest Roofing Contracting Association, Texas...

Heidi Ellsworth: IRE.

Carm: IRE, I forgot IRE.

Michael: In March we're going to Dallas.

Carm: To Dallas.

Heidi Ellsworth: Yeah, to Dallas.

Carm: International Roofing Expo.

Heidi Ellsworth: So you really, if you weren't able to make it to NERCA, you can find these two at almost any show out there. And they're the best. Absolutely the best. Thank you for everything you do.

Michael: It's great to work with the roofing contractors. They're very good to us and it's a great crew in all the states. It's a lot of education at the events, a lot of great community with the board of directors and the different ways that the different associations handle their shows. And we've been involved for many years and it's been a win-win for sure.

Heidi Ellsworth: We feel the same way. That's what you got to do. This is what it's all about. It's the heartbeat of our industry.

So hopefully I don't lose my voice here. Okay.
