98th Annual Convention & Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Expo Cancelled

FRSA leadership agreed that we could not hold our event with the social distancing guidelines.  

After much consideration and many conversations with the Executive Committee, attorney Trent Cotney, and senior staff members, FRSA has decided to cancel the July 15-17, 2020 Convention and the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Expo.

It was a difficult decision for all involved, but the health and safety of our members, exhibitors and staff was our first priority. An event our size is not one that can be easily moved. We still face much uncertainty about what the future of face to face meetings will look like for this year, and FRSA leadership agreed that we could not hold our event with the social distancing guidelines currently in place.
  
Hotel Reservations
All hotel reservations made at the Gaylord Palms Resort will automatically be cancelled by the hotel. Deposits will be refunded to the credit card on file within 7-14 business days. Questions should be directed to the Gaylord Palms Resort at 407-586-0000.

Convention Registrations
If you have already registered for the Convention and Expo through our website, we will automatically cancel your registration and refund money paid. You will not need to do anything else. 

Exhibitors 
If you are an exhibitor, you will be receiving a separate email from Cheryl with details for cancelling booth space and exhibitor services.

Sponsors 
Sponsors will be contacted individually. 
  
We appreciate the support you have given FRSA; it will take us a few weeks to work through all the details and we ask for your patience and cooperation as we move forward during this very unprecedented time.  

Although the Convention and Expo has been cancelled, FRSA will continue to offer all planned industry-specific educational courses online in July. Attendees will be given a special code to purchase these online courses, good through the end of the year. Click here for a list of courses.
