Quentan Tobolka and Jules Dekovics

Megan Ellsworth sits down with Quentan Tobolka, president at PMR Roofing and Jules Dekovics, national sales manager at Exceptional® Metals to share their stories from the roof. The three discuss the details of a job they did on The Texas Historical Commission historical marker outside Val Verde County Courthouse, with the help of Duro-Last. It was constructed in 1887 and redesigned in 1915, so, when the roof was damaged in March 2020 by the second largest hailstorm to hit Del Rio, not just any material could replace the octagonal dome. One of the biggest challenges of this job was that Del Rio is a small city on the banks of the Rio Grande, which serves as the border between the U.S. and Mexico. Join us to learn about their paths in roofing as well as the great work they have done with Duro-Last to provide a new roof for The Texas Historical Commission historical marker.
