General Manager Job Summary
As the General Manager, you will oversee all market operations, including sales, recruiting, training, office staff and procedures, and production. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with the branch owner to ensure that our services, products, and sales meet and exceed customer and industry expectations. Your commitment to upholding Best Choice Roofing’s mission will be critical in leading the team and ensuring successful operations. The General Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these areas. The General Manager is the liaison and communication between the branch locations and the Territory owner.
General Manager Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
Supervise and manage all aspects of the market operations.
Provide leadership and direction to management and reps.
Manage the financial performance of the branch through effective control of expenses and through the development of sales opportunities.
Actively participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching and employee relations processes to ensure quality, continuous improvement, and positive team morale.
Work in partnership with the Sales Management team to effectively position the company's progression within its competitive market.
Participate in continuing education opportunities, provided by the brand, or vendor, learning resources.
Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed the company objectives.
Oversee recruiting efforts to ensure that the team remains adequately staffed with qualified personnel.
Implement and coordinate training programs to promote team growth and development.
Oversee production processes to ensure quality and efficiency, and eliminate liability.
Foster a positive work environment that supports team collaboration and performance.
Ensure customer service excellence by maintaining a keen focus on customer satisfaction.
Support for all Sales Managers in designated locations.
Coordinate training thru the year on existing products, new products, sales training and other areas as needed.
Weekly, monthly and quarterly evaluations with company owner the
policies/procedures in place
Coordinate and manage performance reviews of management staff in locations.
Enforce locale Policy and Operations Procedures, as directed by company owner.
Works with other departments within the Company to ensure current policies and workflow are adhered to per company guidelines.
Identify prospering reps to company owner for promotional incentive within the company.
Monitor ALL projects to ensure successful completion and customer satisfaction.
Maintain communication with company owner to ensure timely performance of projects.
Develop and position communication programs to reach the target area.
Expand residential products and services within the designated areas.
Analyzes sales successes and uses the data to forecast and plan quarterly.
Create quota requirements and supervise the branch’s management staff in compliance.
Evaluate complex environments to create business-related benefits and solutions.
Work with appropriate managers and other management staff as needed to meet goals of the company.
Meet weekly with company owner to discuss forecasts, operational procedures, production, staffing, and other topics as required.
Support in sales building activities and profit margin improvements, as needed.
Prepare a weekly, monthly, and annual sales projections for the targeted market area(s).
Comply with company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and reliable attendance.
Qualified Candidates Must:
Have reliable transportation, with clean driving record.
Be able to pass a background check (no felonies).

Have the ability to work in a face-paced team-oriented environment.
Be able to work days, evenings, and Saturdays (alternating).
Be able to problem solve and achieve resolutions that satisfy both customer and company.

Be proficient in MS Word and Excel and Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
Be able to project sales, create goals, and achieve them.

Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:
Prior sales management experience required.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good interpersonal, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
Sales and marketing expertise and conflict resolution skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Winning drive and positivity
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Business Management or a related field or equal experience
Ability to motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed goals
Problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities
Benefits:
Base salary, commission, and monthly bonus (between $57,621 – $154,263/annual)
