Experienced Estimator

McGee Roofing is searching for an experienced Estimator. Responsibilities: Develop precise and detailed Xactimate estimates for residential roofing and siding projects. Research and integrate IRC codes, local county code requirements, and residential roofing codes. Collaborate with insurance companies to expedite the approval of Xactimates and projects. Ensure all project estimates are compliant with relevant local, state, and national building codes and regulations. Provide specialized advice and insights on code requirements and insurance claims processes. Position may require extended travel.

Qualifications: Proficient in writing and evaluating Xactimate estimates, specifically for residential roofing and siding. Strong knowledge of IRC codes and experience in researching specific county code requirements. Familiarity with residential roofing codes and industry best practices. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively deal with insurance companies. Experience supplementing insurance claims with multiple carriers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Valid Xactimate license

Education: Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in residential insurance claims (preferred). Xactimate Certification (preferred). Compensation depends on experience, to be negotiated. Company will provide company vehicle, fuel, laptop, cell phone.
