It is 3 elliptical sections that join in a line at their tips and has the clerestory seen here in the central section as well as 2 skylights offset towards the ends of the end sections. Total sqs. is at about 52 all in this beautiful spiral configuration with continuous 18" fascia detail at the perimeter.”

For this, the spire as a whole was cut loose of the existing crane to the ground. Each piece was individually custom fabricated and hand soldered in place to ensure a water tight fit. The craftsmen carefully removed each piece of copper and cataloged them in relation to where they were removed from on the spire and roof. Each new piece was then replicated in the exact size and shape as the original by hand. As a result, the restored spire has the same quality and workmanship as the original that was installed back in the early 1900s.”
