Greetings!

I am new to this forum and realize that window installation is not exactly why people are here however, if there are any window installation companies/contractors on this forum, I'd love to hear from you!

Here is the thing. I run a glass cleaning company in the Bay Area and have always wanted to add window replacement to the products/services we offer.

My question is, should I get my contractors license first?

Thank you.

It's great to see you're looking to expand your services to include window replacement. Obtaining a contractor's license is generally a smart move, as it not only adds credibility to your business but also ensures you're operating within legal and safety guidelines. It might be a bit of paperwork and effort upfront, but it can pay off in the long run.

Additionally, having a contractor's license allows you to bid on larger projects and can open up more opportunities for growth. So, it's definitely worth considering. Feel free to ask more specific questions or share any concerns you have about the process – there are many experienced folks here who can offer valuable advice.
