After taking one and a half hours just to get around the city of Atlanta I have to ask myself how do people subject themselves to this hell on a daily basis. There isn't enough money in the world to entice me to live like this.
Max,
I hit 285, off 85 just as the downpours hit on friday afternoon.
It took that 1.5 hours just to get to 85 on the NW side.
Then just north of Lawrenceville, I hit a 4 hour standstill. Almost ran out of gas sitting there.
I drive through enough to know that's not normal, but it's not the first time either. Grrrrrr.
I try to take solace in my wife's advice "Be joyful, you don't know what kind of trouble that delay kept you out of." But it don't work.
Hey Mike I have to deal with this on a daily basis it helps to know your way around though

I feel that way about most cities these days...lol. I'd NEVER live in a big city again. Hell... even a decent sized city. I like the rural life MUCH better.....
More than 2 Hours LOST on the GPS, sitting in my 6th standstill in less than 90 miles. This is so stupid. About as stupid as a guy ranting about on a roofing forum I suppose.
