For years now, we used 4-1/2 lb. cotton hanks with 4" staples attached to a mop bell. We used to use fiberglass mops but never liked thawing them out. Today, I saw for the first time the "Pin Type" mop heads. The look pretty easy to swap out. Any thoughts?>>>
Mop Staples, easy on easy off just make sure they are not left on roof at end of day, may ignite from wind and start a fire.>>>
9 foot stick with a Samson Fiberglass head.
Don't do any hot work anymore though, but I still have 3 kettles.

On the very rare occasions anymore that I get to swing a mop, I load 13 to 15 skeins (Ring-a-Ting) on a compression head w/a 9' hickory handle. The old style flat strand glass skeins were better than the new furled ones.
15 skeins with a full load can kink an aluminum mop handle. Snapped a few hickorys too. And yes, I do need new rotator cuffs but cortisone shots will keep me going a few more years >>>
Don't use one, just a torch and i'm good to go.>>>
I think I still have a one and a half inch indentation in my right thigh from pulling a double skein nylon for way too long a time.
Once they came out with hot spreaders and gravel buggys life became a lot easier.... now if they just made kettle spigots a little stronger, life would have been great. But that's another story in another time...>>>
I don't use any of them but the lovely Mrs. Willie uses the ones with a stick on the other end! lol>>>
