Hey, when it is cold out, I wear "Turtle necks" all the time!
I'd be surprised of you could find them up there Patty, down here they are a staple along with pigs feet, chicken livers, sheeps balls and all the other "parts" that you don't generally find elsewhere........not anywhere I've been anyway. The recipe is the necks (about a dozen chunks), boullion, garlic, heavy chopped onion, button shrooms and baby carrots a pint of stock, season then low and slow all day in the crockpot, add a half glass of red wine at about ten hours, switch off and let sit for a half hour. Serve with crispy roast potatoes and garlic bread to mop up the gravy.............See, now I was gonna wait and have left overs for dinner tonight and you've just fixed it that I won't make it till then..
yeah! And way better than the "SEATTLE SEA-CHICKENS"!!!
My wife says to me today...
"I am going to kill you in your sleep Gonna chop you up Cook you in the oven And eat you til my stomachs full."
I says "why would you do somethin like that?"
"Because its Thanksgiving you knucklehead and your the only TURKEY around!
This was said while the "Cowgirls" were playing football on t.v. ......I was not paying any attention to her on this great day of giving!
