The Washington Post actually ran a small article in yesterday's print (on page 13) as reprinted from the Los Angles Times basically noting that the Congressional Republicans on Wednesday called for Obama to suspend efforts to combat climate change. We will see how this plays out.
There was a headline in a recent paper about co2 at the highest point ever. Later in the text it listed how the parts-per-million had increased 'dramatically' over the previous year. A little quick math revealed that what they labeled as dramatic was an increase of less than 1/500,000th percent. Then it went on to say how bad nitrous oxide had increased. I thought that was laughing gas, so even if they're correct about it, we'll be laughing at the rising seas. But it was interesting that they stated the increase number like it corresponded with the co2. But you had to look close to find out that increase was parts-per-BILLION instead of million cited for co2. You can't get an honest, straight-up story on this.
And the Kiwi's were at it too...
And how the media chooses to ignore the whole thing.

Figures lie and liars figure. Some people are making millions of from all of the hype. I wonder why they don't try and contain the wild fires and volcanos?
