We dont't install a lot of OC Tru-Def shingles,but whenever we do our guys are not happy with woven fabric nail strip snagging in their hook blade whenever they are cutting shingles for a valley,etc.Anybody know of something that would work better to cut these shingles?

A sharp hook helps but yes, very troublesome.

I just ordered the Rigid Shingle Cutter. Its an airtool that has two oversize hooks. I'm looking forward to seeing the postman!

While we are on the subject of Durations, does anybody else just nail anywhere in the fabric. We have always hit it low to make sure it catches both parts of the shingle but after reading their warranty, we might be wasting our effort.
