It was a nice day for roofing today. My sons step son is going to a school and my son is trading tuition for roofing and general repairs. A good deal for all involved. I told him I would help a bit and this morning we tore off the old roof and I nailed on about 12 squares before I left at 1:00 pm. Originally I had roofed the building about 26 years ago for the same lady as tuition for the same son that is doing it now. The wheel goes round.>>>
Since I started roofing when I was about 4 or 5, I have been on roofs we worked on for the third time already.
This job was with the old Globe Premier shakes and it was worn out. I think my son who is doing it for his step son now was in 3rd. grade at the time and he is 34 now. Time does pass. Good one RD.>>>
It must really be an "Old School". Sometime I crack myself up.>>>
