Roof Giveaway - No Roof Left Behind Alternative?

We've been giving away a new roof every year for 6 years until this year, though No Roof Left Behind. They closed down their program this year and we want to continue the giveaway on our own for the community. Has anyone done a roofing giveaway without NRLB? What was your process like? Any tips?

There are some units that support roof donation but it requires a referral.
