Got a leak call and realized I install the arch roof in 1981, 37 years ago. Roof still in good shape, plumbing boot leaking

Deck movement is a killer. Summer Roof mean temp 129+ thunderstorm temp 72 in 20+ minutes. 120+ 1 hr later. Expansion& contraction day after day month after month. Intense  UV 6 months of the year.

Lucky to get 25 years out of an arch roof here in Ontario Canada....   Ice does a number on granules.....  I wonder if the drastic shift in temperatures from +40 celsius to -40 celsius from summer to winter has any effect on shingle life.
