i saw a video on the weather channel today of a torando in australia. which way do they spin south of the equator

There are two little whirlpools that form there. One hemisphere of the drain goes one way and the other goes the opposite. If it's a large tubful of liquid at eight lbs. per gallon it creates a rapid series of vapor locks interspersed with globules of liquid that hop straight up to a height directly proportional to the head pressure.
