QUESTION #2 - Could more contemporary looking vents be used as an up-sell?

  1. Oh, that's a hell yes. Perfect example...most homeowners prefer shingle over ridge vent rather than the aluminum ones because it looks better. Omni sells of 30 ft roll plastic.
  2. Yes, even if it's just painted to match!
  3. I don't think so, nobody cares about vents, for the most part people as long as they don't leak!
  4. More functional vents would be a great up sell. More NFA, less penetrations, less chances for a leak. To me, performance always outweighs aesthetics on roof components.
