What is your primary QC tool? A tape mneasure, a AJC hatchet, A gun nailer, a chalk line, the instuctions on the materials, (have we EVER read them)
How do you measure your results?
Doggie style? Ouch. It does all start from the top though. I try and lead by example, and if it is only me, then it is pretty easy to do.

Makes sense to me!
If you have only had to remove a "bundle" you aren't giving them much "rope"
Mike, I took a ISO standards class about 3 years ago, and I was wondering how to incorporate that into the "installation" segment of the roofing industry. All of the information in the world won't help a roof if it is installed wrong, but at least you would have a way of estabishing what went wrong with some of those details to start with.
RG. That works for sure, but it is kind of a large waste. Much easier to do it right the first time.
