Unless your a fool there isn't enough money. If you are a fool then ask for as much as possible so you make as much money as quickly as possible because you won't be in the job for long. Running the eighteen guys whilst inspecting their work whilst figuring out the materials they need, and used - and should've used - whilst ensuring they are OSHA compliant and then writing them up cos they ain't (thus ensuring they fking hate you which means they will undermine you every chance they get) whilst learning "current techniques" and then passing them on to them, then making sure they have "inwardly digested" said techniques then correcting them when you see that they were stoned/drunk/not interested when you showed 'em so they did'nt learn a thing and now you gotta do it again, whilst dealing with pissy customers, whilst inspecting the (four 4 man crews? = eight roofs a week-roughly)new roofs, whilst evaluating the bids to make sure you get the jobs but don't lose yer ass, whilst ensuring the trucks all got their oil changes and all the trailers running lights are working.................You get the picture?? Sorry to be so negative but different people wear different hats for different reasons.
