Just got great news. My son will be home from Iraq the end of September. It has been over two years since I have seen him. He will be home for the Holidays.>>>
I am so happy for you! It is great to hear good news for a change.
This town has been suffering this past week. First, a Marine was buried who was killed in Iraq and then those shootings at the LA Fitness Center just down the road.
I thank God daily for the men and women past and present who have served our country to keep me and my family safe.
Next time you are in a restaurant, if you see a veteran, buy him his meal. I do this whenever I see a WWII vet. I will ask our server to add a gift card for the restaurant on my bill, I write a note thanking him for her service that ensured my children could grow up free. I then ask the waitress to give it to the vet without telling him where it came from. It is only $20 or $30, but it makes me feel good and lets them know they are appreciated.>>>
Glad to here! I have alot of respect for anyone who serves their country!>>>
I am so glad for you and your son, along with all of the other young men away serving our country.
God Bless.
