I have a small trivia tournament for friends and family of Hicks Roofing at:
http://my.funtrivia.com/tournament/The-HixMix-Challenge-90670.html
It's a fun part of our daily routine. If you'd like to join in the fun, click or copy/paste the above link, and register a player name. Scores are accumulated through the month, so you can start fresh today.
There is a different topic each day of the week, and weekly topics change from month to month.
See ya on the winner's podium.>>>
I notice a big spike every month after the e-mail goes out, so here's a little tip.
Put this in your favorites, right above or below your RCS link. You'll see it every time you look for this site.>>>

Had a few one-day-wonders. A few from the other forum that stuck with it. Just bumping this as a reminder to anyone that hasn't seen it elsewhere.>>>
Whos gonna do the roofing work? lol>>>
For those of you that have joined in already, here's how the thing works.
Each month, I select a topic for each day of the week from a list of about 30 topics and tens of thousands of questions. Let's say Sunday. I usually pick "Religion". The questions can be about christianity, morman, muslim, eastern mystic........ Everyone will get 10 questions, and we all have different questions. Over the course of a month, or years everyone that plays regularly will get all the questions.
You get 100 pts for a correct answer. You lose 1 pt for every second it takes to finish the quiz.
At the end of every day, a point value is given to everyone. The winner gets 1 pt for each person that took the quiz. 20 people take it, the winner gets 20 pts. The point value drops for each person down the top 10. After the top ten, everyone that took the quiz is awarded the same number of points for their participation that day. Points are accumulated and the top 10 cumulative scores can be viewed by clicking on "Standings".
It's a fun part of the daily routine once it becomes a habit.
Thanks for participating and I hope to see you regularly.>>>
