How do you guys keep your crew cool working on that hot roof?>>>
well i like keeping a garden hose on the roof, and keep my head wet.>>>
oops....   I will continue to try and improve . Thanks for the spelling bee. >>>
Right on the mark Jed . Crews that take their shirts off and don't where hats haven't worked in the sun or are just ignorant and haven't learned yet . It is counter intuitive but right . Oh yeah if you haven't heard I have my spell check back. Lost it when I got this new lap top.>>>
There is no such thing as hot or cold only work! lol When the kids are hungry they dont care about that. They want to eat! Not necesssarily trying to be a smarty here but when its hot we take off more clothes and when its cold we put more on. Along with drinking more water, starting earlier. etc. Back in the old days we used to start at sun up and knock off at lunch. Then come back at 5 p.m. and work until 9 p.m. One of the smartest things you can do during the dog days of summer is make sure you start tearing off a part of the roof that is going to be in the shade for nailing back on when the sun comes up higher. If there are trees of course. lol>>>
I always tell them it's in their head. The more ya think about it the more it will get to you. Keep 2 coolers on roof. One water, one gatorade.>>>
That's a trade secret.>>>
