Let's do a survey... Was the moon landing in 1969 an elaborate hoax ? Although I'm not one to buy into exotic conspiracy theories I have heard and read some things that have sparked my cynicism.
Given we had the technology to do it in '69 why is it we haven't returned at least once, if not several times.
And yes I am quite cynical when it comes to the trustworthiness of the federal government.
As of right now I don't think it was staged. But I have been wrong before.>>>
They went back five times? I thought those was reruns.>>>
Hoax or not this is the new moon approach. The Constellation Project . KSC launch pad 39B . Space shuttle Endevour passes last shuttle launch on 39B to Constellation Project. Come 2010, Launch Pad 39A will also complete its tour of duty with the space shuttles, and will become the launching platform for the unmanned ARES V delivery system.

Whats the going rate to get to the moon?

why does it matter there' no roofs there. Now if they built a hut it would be time for a layover>>>
Does'nt bother me if we went there or not, it was a moral boost that was sorely needed. Buzz Aldrin said yesterday though that we did'nt visit the dark side and there are no current plans to do so.>>>
If it was a hoax, the purpose would have been to outbullchit Russia in the space race game during those times. Government's lying to the citizens (aka propaganda) is certainly not beyond belief considering that is is only business as usual, and it would have been a necessity during that era if they were to make the Soviets believe it as well.>>>
Roofrite
Does the phrase "Been there, Done that", explain it to ya?
I believe we had men walk on the moon but then again, I still believe in Santa Claus!>>>
roofrite Said: How or why is it we would not return ? This is the question that troubles me.
Uhhhh, we went back and walked on it 5 more times after Apollo 11.>>>

Believe what you want . It happened ...........

The multi-shadows from only one source of light always had me wondering, but I am sure there was a good explanation for it.
Let's ask Mr. Cronkite. He knows the truth.
Oh Crap, they got rid of him just as he was about to spill the beans.

I guess nothing would surprize me. I know I looked up at the moon 40 years ago today and wondered if they were up there!>>>
