I am a residential roofing contractor located in Longmont, CO (originally from Detroit, MI). I've been roofing since 1996. I am the owner/operator of TRRC, Inc. (since May '09). I've been a lurker on this site for a long time; finally decided to join. Looking forward to exchanging ideas with other roofing pros.

I was originally from the Detroit area myself. I grew up in East Detroit, now known as Eastpointe. I landed in Austin about 5 years ago.

I looked too. You might want to quit using those metal/rubber vent collars. When the rubber splits in 8=12 years, the water pours into the house. The 3 in 1 have a tower to prevent that issue.

Hello and welcome Steve. I just spent 2+ weeks in Boulder. Nice college town. Watched a roof being R/R. Basic field work the same. Details were interesting. The most creative was a 4inch PVC pipe shoved up through a chimney. B) :kiss: :side: :silly: :blink: :side: :woohoo: B) Deep down in Florida where the sun shines damn near everyday
