OLE Willie

It took about 2 weeks for the insurance checks to start coming and work kicked into high gear. Its a pain in the arse playing adjuster for the insurance company but it pays off in the end for sure so its well worth it. But you know the deal give a bid for one thing and a lot of times they wont pay for that so you have to go back out and bid one or two sides only or just a patch or whatever. But a lot of h/o's are getting half the roof paid for and paying the other half themselves and getting the roof done. I think a lot of that is over with now and i'm getting a lot more calls where the insurance adjuster has already been out before me and the h/o has a check in hand. I've had 3 folders sitting on my desk at the office for over 2 years empty with no paperwork in them becuase what few jobs we were getting during that time were cycled through so fast there was never a stack. I've had the same folders ( 1 red - 1 yellow -1 green ) for years. Finally there are actually jobs in those folders today! Red is jobs that i expect to get, do follow ups on etc. that are not actual contracts as of yet. Yellow is signed contracts but can not be started just yet due to color not selected, waiting on insurance check etc. And Green is Git-R-Done Baby!! lol>>>

OLE Willie

We just had a lot of wind damage about 2-3 weeks ago and over half of the damaged homes have not been repaired or replaced yet. It has not rained significantly since those last storms. With 1-2 inches of rain expected im preparing for some more of those 14 hour days this week. Only 2 months ago we were begging for work! What a ride! lol>>>
