I'm super busy and I haven't seen anybody that needs my expert advice lately.
Vickie: Nice. Not at all what I was expecting.
Here's one for the stupid category: We had two modular homes(mobile homes) lined up this fall. First one: Guys are tearing it off with my Dad. I called him to ask if we need anything. He tells me we stepped through the ceiling. Dang. I mention to him that I think our newest installer needed a raise and I couldn't think of a reason not to give him one. He agreed after a slight hesitation. I get there and he is the one who stepped through.
Two weeks later on the next modular home: The new laborer stepped on a weak piece of plywood carrying a bundle of shingles. Boom, foot through the ceiling.
It hadn't happened for a while before this. I don't know of anybody getting a raise 15 minutes after stepping through one in our history.
Here is something I fell in love with I just found. It's right up your alley!
