Do you really know how good coffee can be? If you can't start life in the morning without your bean juice (thanks Andy), cup of Joe, caffeine fix. I satiate my caffeine fix by roasting my own. I have found the region where the coffee is grown I love. The trick then became how do I get the correct roast. That problem was solved with this device http://tinyurl.com/BehmorRoaster. Cool. Now I slurp my Ciak Roast how I love it with the roast I love. Sweet luscious, sometimes almost syrupy quality Ciak Roast coffee imparts. It has a sensational texture, chocolate fullness, and consistency on the tongue. mmm, mmm Yum, Yum! Love my very own Ciak Roast perfect.

Very close and dear friends of The Lovely Mrs Ciak and I were out for dinner last night. He was one day back from Qatar. 27 hrs flying. Ouch, The conversation came up about Turkish coffee. I'm on a new quest. In search of a rakweh. The process is as follows. http://desertcandy.blogspot.com/2010/03/how-to-make-arabic-or-turkish-coffee.html Cool. B) :) :) B)

From the cost description $69 a spinning blade grinder?? In all likelihood it is either their traditional single origin Culi (single, unsplit, peaberry) beans. The flavor makes me suspicious it is a Robusta Arabica blend. A rich, bold Robusta and milder fragrant Arabica; Vietnam's most popular and well-rounded coffee blend. No matter what it is sit back enjoy. Their are so many different coffees in the world you have a very fine one indeed. I still maintain my fresh Ciak Roast ( at it's very best at 4-10 days after roasting) is the best I have ever tasted. MMMM I think I'll go an pull me an espresso after I post this. I hear my coffee calling me.

Be a real shame to let those beans go untasted.Worlds largest exporter of Robusta Arabica beans. When you think of major coffee countries, odds are that Vietnam does not jump to your mind. Yet in recent years, Vietnam has shot up through the world’s coffee exporting ranks, now second only to Brazil in tons of coffee exported nationally. The rapid rise from utter anonymity in the coffee-producing world to its current exporting prowess has put the country at the center of a global economic controversy, as countries from Colombia to Tanzania blame Vietnam for contributing to the swell of coffee supply and plummeting prices. No small fact, considering that coffee is the world’s second-most widely traded commodity, second only to petroleum, Send the beans across the pond Mike/ I'll give you a description of what you didn't drink. I have a fairly decent stone grinder. Better yet most grocery stores have grinder in the coffee isle hint, hint B) ;) ;) B)

Alright I'll start............ To my other personality, Ciak was afraid nobody would remember him when he’s gone. Gee, I can think of several reasons I will be remembered. I don't know ir I like any of them, but I can think of them. "Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself." - Leo Tolstoy

If I ever get a hankerin for a hobby, I'll take you up on the offer. Panera is 100 yards from my patio, so I'm going to continue patronizing them in the short term.

Back home (in Austin), we have a fairly sophisticated machine. I never use it.

You are making me jealous! I'm heading over to Panera now to get a decaf topped off with a full roast.

I don't know anything about coffee except that I love it. Can you roast your own decaf that tastes decent?
