Last one I did was a year in a half ago. It was an insurance job.

At the time got a really good deal at $220 a square. Some places had them for well over $300 a square.

Got a price today they are back down to just over $200 a square. Bid a cedar shingle job today. Number one grade machine cut $150 a square.

The last full installation for us was 4 years ago. We make repairs on cedar shake once or twice a year and tear one off maybe once a year but in this area, they may only last 15 years and that is quite an expense for the amount of time they last.
