That application will last as long you own the house we started doing the self adhesive base with a smooth and granulated cap sheet it one hell of roof. Just finished one on my bank my guys really like working with self adhesive base.
A heat resistant metal Self Adhesive underlayment. Polyglass Q is the product. Yes a smooth membrane would have been more compatible in hind site.. The flat was done a year ago, self adhesive base , torch applied smooth and a 1/2 lap granulated modified torched over the smooth coat. Vaa Fakaosifolau Said: Good planning ahead CIAK, solves that issue. Dont you think a smooth single ply membrane would be more compatible? Maybe you are restricted by whats already on the flat roof to using modified? So what is that blue shaded strip then?

Tie-in detail without panel B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
The repair is a minor problem on this type install.. In the pic the tube paneled leaked in our first rain after install. Drill bit for rivets went through metal, underlayment ,and wood. I was able to get the short panels off and repair without much problem. The panels are snap- locks Flat roof tie in is pre planned. 2 ft flat panel slid up flashing below not crimped. If you look closely the flashing panel is installed. All panels over smooth coat underlayments to prevent abrasive modified granules rubbing galvalume coating during expansion and contraction cycles, rusting bottom of panel. I will try to post a pic of that detail. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
It is " The Humble Abode" . Pretty much standard application for this type of panel. I did my best on the underlayment knowing Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day that water proof solid high quality underlayments are the key to longevity and top performance with this type of roof pitch.
