Question: How best to reach potential dealers?
We are a relatively new company, supplying a product designed to prolong the life of installed asphalt roof shingles to US and Canadian customers and are looking to expand our dealer network within the U.S.
Ideally, the prospective dealer would have a background in the roofing industry, perhaps as inside/outside sales at a roofing supply distributor or even a current dealer of roofing products. He/she would operate independently, establishing accounts with roofing contractors. The dealer would order quantities as needed from us and sell to the individual accounts. The dealer would be eligible for geographic exclusivity, ensuring no other dealer competition, upon reaching predetermined levels of minimum order quantities.

Since this a roofers' blog with a vast majority of posts coming from roofing contractors who may not be interested in becoming dealers, we're wondering if there are alternative ways of reaching prospective dealer candidates on other blogs or networks that we are not aware of. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Of course, roofers who may be interested are certainly encouraged to contact us.
