A hail storm up here last week

Staight line winds of about 80 MPH and golf ball sized hail. It took the siding right off the houses but it was mostly on the West sides of the houses. I don't know how many stormers are up here, but the locals have it well under control. Very rural area with a lot of big farms and such, so the damage while substantial is limited to a relatively "few" buildings. Hundreds I am sure, but not thousands of them. Scarry stuff!

It was vinyl siding Vaa. As you can see, the only thing that was left was the nail strips where it was fastened. It wasn't all that cold that night so it wasn't all that brittle but it just disintigrated. I would hate to have been out in that storm. It could have killed you!
