Tremco Roofing Introduces AlphaGrade™ Restoration System for Gravel-Surfaced Roofs

AlphaGrade is used to restore gravel-surfaced, built-up roofing (BUR) systems.
It is used as a leveling coat that secures gravel to the roof, after which the AlphaGrade Base Coat and highly-reflective AlphaGrade Top Coat are applied. This combination provides three layers of waterproofing protection to aging but still functional gravel-surfaced roofs, so the roof does not need to be replaced. With virtually no smell, AlphaGrade is perfect for use in sensitive environments such as schools, hospitals, occupied buildings, etc.

AlphaGrade is a two-component, bio-based, polyurethane leveling coat. Its high percentage of bio-based and post-consumer recycled content makes it both sustainable and environmentally responsible.

2023 Tremco Field Services Global Safety Week Highlights

In June, the Tremco CPG Field Services divisions/business units came together in their various regions across the globe to celebrate our Safety Culture.

During our Tremco Safety Week, the company dedicated an entire week to our employees learning more about various safety-related work practices, realigning with workplace safety policies, creating additional team camaraderie surrounding the topic of working safely on all projects, and of course, having a little fun with team members!

Innovation. It’s been our calling card since 1928 and it’s on display again with POWERply Endure Modified Bitumen Membranes.

Benefits to Contractors: The 1/2 gallon curative is packaged and shipped within the same pail as the 3.5-gallon base. This packaging gives contractors the following benefits:

• Efficient shipment and storage, base and curative are now packaged together.
• Curative cannot be lost/damaged, it is sealed inside the pail.
• Curative is now in a screw cap container, with less chance for damage or spillage as compared to the former friction lid can.
• Curative is with the base, much lower potential for mixing errors on site.
• Plastic pail is easier to open and dispose of than the former steel pails.
