Peter Horch is the proud owner of Horch Roofing, located in Warren and South Portland, Maine, which specializes in asphalt roofing, standing seam metal roofing, EPDM rubber roofing, and seamless gutters.  In 2003, Peter founded the company with the goal of providing high-quality roofing services to homeowners and businesses throughout Maine.  Because of instilling strong core values like Safety, Quality, and Respect, Horch Roofing was awarded the State of Maine’s Governor's Award for Excellence in Business in 2015.  Since Horch Roofing recycles 100% of all roofing debris, it has been awarded the 2021 Environmental Leadership Award from the IFOB and in 2010 the Good to be Green Award from the Penobscot Bay Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to his work at Horch Roofing, Horch is an active member of the national roofing community. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Midcoast Maine's Habitat for Humanity.  Since 2013, Horch Roofing has been able to donate over 20 new roofs to Habitat projects.

Peter's experience in the industry has been so valuable that he volunteered to be part of the committee that wrote the NRCA Residential Steep Slope Repair Manual, which has benefited many people in the industry. His dedication to excellence and passion for sharing knowledge has made him a role model for others in the industry.
