McElroy Metal is an employee owned business with a strong culture of values that extends to customers, employees and vendors.
The company believes business morals and ethics still have a place in the work environment. McElroy Metal continues to conduct business under the golden rule adage: Customers deserve to be treated in the same way we like to be treated by our suppliers. Some may say that makes us old fashioned... We think they are right!
In this interview, we sit down with Jason Sellers, a sales professional with nearly seven years of experience in cold-formed buildings who works with McElroy Metal's EasyFrame division. Jason shares insights on the benefits, construction process, and unique aspects of EasyFrame metal buildings.
The metal building industry is changing! Traditional metal buildings have been around for decades and consist of red iron frames and substructural members. The frames are fabricated and welded together in a time and labor-consuming process. Fortunately, there is an alternative - EasyFrame Metal Buildings! Our EasyFrame Cold-formed buildings consist of 100% factory roll-formed parts, eliminating the need for fabrication and welding.

McElroy's 2 3/4" tall symmetrical Trap-Tee system is a mechanically seamed system designed to resolve the three major shortcomings of trapezoidal standing seam roof systems: leaking endlaps, low wind uplift capacity, and repair challenges.
Site forming eliminates end laps that tend to leak over time. Oversized seams and special clips dramatically increase wind uplift capacity, and the symmetrical design allows for easy repair or alteration after the roof is installed. With a life expectancy approaching 60 years, the ability to add curbs, vents, single panel replacement, and even building additions represents a critical component.
McElroy's standard paint system for Trap-Tee is Kynar 500® (PVDF), the industry's best coating for long-term protection against panel chalk and fade. For budget-conscious or low-sloped applications, this panel is also available in acrylic-coated Galvalume®.

Traditional metal buildings have been around for decades and consist of red iron frames and red iron substructural members. The frames are fabricated and welded together in a time and labor-consuming process.
