Holly Gotfredson has been a part of both American Metalcraft and Finishing Dynamics for over two decades, now serving as President and owner of both companies. She purchased American Metalcraft Inc. in 2017 and Finishing Dynamics in late 2021. As a second-generation owner of two family businesses, she knew she had big shoes to fill and took that responsibility very seriously.

Initially, she started off as part of the office staff, working hard with what she was given and with a desire to learn more about the metal manufacturing and coating process. She had great mentors through her family members and key staff that helped grow her knowledge and experience. With a background in art, marketing and accounting, she possessed the creative, critical and analytical thinking skills that are so important in the manufacturing world. As she moved up into several leadership roles, she was instrumental in bringing both brands to the forefront of the industry through business development, continuing education class design, marketing campaigns and networking. She created an aggressive business plan that resulted in record breaking sales, unmatched in the history of both companies. 

Both companies were recognized by BUILD Magazine as Best architectural Metal Manufacturing companies in Georgia for 2023.  

She’s been recognized as a leader in her field with awards from Women of Excellence in Metal Forming and Fabricating Magazine, the CSI Southeast President’s Award and most recently, a Women of Achievement Tribute Honoree in 2023 and Electronic Media Excellence from CSI Southeast Region in 2024. She is part of AIA Atlanta, Construction Specification Institute, National Association of Women In Construction and RAINA (Rainscreen Association in North America). She is an industry influencer, having been published in several industry websites and magazines. She has garnered success on various social media platforms, podcasts, and conferences, offering continuing education sessions and leadership training.

In addition to being a business leader in the built environment, Holly enjoys writing short stories and songs and just recently completed her first novel. She’s able to share her message that in all facets of our lives—if we live with intention, honor, compassion, and faith—we lift others up along the way. Her hope is to inspire everyone she encounters to join her in this awakened type of lifestyle.  She and her husband are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, are empty nesters, and live with their two dogs in North Georgia.
