OSHA 30-hour training is a 30-hour course presented over a period of four consecutive Friday's on construction industry safety, health hazard recognition and prevention developed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the United States Department of Labor.
Topics in the course cover a wide variety and include personal protection equipment, fall prevention, material handling, scaffolds, tool lockout, and
ladder safety.
Registration is on a first-come, first serve basis. Cancellation notifications are required and substitutions are allowed.

Review and discuss the purpose/goals of an accident investigation. Definitions and descriptions of the various types of incidents which need to be investigated and documented into a report. Duties and responsibilities of the various members involved with an accident investigation (i.e. safety coordinator, supervisor, safety committee members, and involved employees). Accident investigation procedures and how to complete a root cause analysis. Accident investigation tips and questions to ask.

MENTOR
Roofing Contractors have a unique opportunity to pledge their support by offering yours or an employees' time to mentor a student. We believe that your expertise and guidance can play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of skilled roofing professionals. ARCA will try to match schools with mentors based on the mentor's location, either at the office or home, and facilitate the introduction between the teacher and mentor.
