Healthy employees are good for business! According to a recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 12.2% of working-age adults in the U.S. are still without insurance. While this number has decreased in recent years, it is still challenging and expensive for employers to offer health insurance to their employees, especially in smaller companies. The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) recognizes this challenge and has recently rolled out a new Health Care Program in partnership with Vault Health Strategies.
Under the NRCA Health Care Program, all NRCA members are eligible for health benefits no matter the size of your company. And both full-time and part-time employees can take advantage of this program. Plans are customizable and focused specifically on the roofing industry. The opportunity to provide your employees with health insurance shows you value them and could lead to increased productivity. Your employees will receive the care they need, reducing the number of sick days used throughout the year.
With a variety of plans to choose from, and the ability to offer different plans to different employee groups, employers have the flexibility to find a plan that best fits business needs. Employers choose sponsored major medical, fully funded or self-funded health insurance and can contribute to employees’ health insurance. Employers also can provide supplemental insurance like dental and vision, diagnostic tests or hospital stays, as well as prescription benefits and telemedicine options.
NRCA is proud to offer these benefits packages and sees measurable value by providing offerings to its members. By insuring your employee base, their health is improved, which reduces their costs and yours, while increasing product innovation, work productivity and overall efficiency.
Not sure where to start? Vault Strategies and NRCA will guide you in finding the right plan for your employees. Check out the site for more information on how to get started.
