When it comes to all types of roofing, safety must be a top priority for all contractors. But reducing and managing all the risks at play can be difficult. That’s why we’ve teamed up with IB Roof Systems for our next episode of Read, Listen, Watch® (RLW), where we’ll be covering the principles of risk management in commercial roofing projects.
In this upcoming RLW, our COO Karen Edwards will be speaking with Jon Benlap, director of sales and specifications at IB Roof Systems. Jon has been in the roofing industry since 1994 and has worked various roles in roofing including contracting, consulting and technical management. With his wealth of knowledge, he’ll provide valuable insight into essential milestones for successful and safe commercial roofing projects.
IB Roof Systems is one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of low-slop roofing solutions. They also are a great resource for technical support and contractor training. The customer relationship goes beyond just selling contractors a product. They want to be sure that you have access to the best training and educational resources. That’s why we are so glad to be teaming up with them for this highly informative RLW.
Although we will mainly be discussing risk management in commercial single-ply PVC roof projects during the RLW, these principles can apply to any type of roof installation. One major point of discussion will be roofing failures, what they are and how roofers and building owners contribute to them. They’ll also highlight how to consider roof design and installation processes to further manage any potential risks.
Register for the upcoming RLW to learn more about reducing safety risks during low-slope roofing projects.
