What’s the Glue for You?

Franklin Roof Glue
January 31, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

By Cayden Wemple.

Choosing the right color glue for your roofing project is vital for making it look the way you want it to. Titebond is here to help you with the process.

In a recent Roofing Road Trips podcast, Heidi J. Ellsworth joins Darci Kunard from Franklin International and the Titebond brand to talk about one of Titebond’s foundational products, Titebond Glue.

It’s the little things that matter. You might think that you have all the details of your roofing project dialed in, but it’s possible that you forgot to cross those final “T’s” and dot those final “I’s.” One of the little things to secure is matching the correct color glue with your roof. Darci has a great tool to make sure you’re on the right track for making the right choice. “

“If you go up on the very top of [titebond.com], you just click color match and then you can pull down a dropdown list of all the manufacturers of metal siding, metal roofing, and you will actually see all the ways that we match. So they have a specific color, obviously in their line. Say, for example, they have a harvest blue. It will tell you what color of ours matches that. We do custom color matching as well.”

You may be thinking that it’s going to be tough to get an exact match for the roof you’re looking for. Well, Titebond has a specific color matching technician in their Columbus, Ohio office whose role is to match the colors to your specificity. They have over one hundred different types of colors to choose from. Say you have had the roof on for a couple years too and it needs some repairs. Despite the wear-and-tear, Titebond can still match the color.

Learn more about Franklin International in their RoofersCoffeeShop® Directory or visit www.titebond.com

Listen to the podcast for more information on Titebond glues and how this product can help roofers incorporate additional exterior repairs along with roofing.
