Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions to Launch new Unified Steel™ Cool Roof Rated Colors at Western Roofing Expo

New offerings expand energy saving roofing options for homeowners, contractors and builders. 

Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions™, a leader in efficient and durable roofing systems and components, will exhibit at the 2023 Western Roofing Expo being held September 23 through 25 at Paris Las Vegas. The roofing leader will introduce new Unified Steel™ Cool Roof Colors, which are rated by the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC), in booth #225. A variety of Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions’ energy efficient and resilient roofing systems and options will also be showcased in the booth including selections from the US Tile® Clay Roofing Products, Newpoint™ Concrete Roof Tile, Unified Steel™ Stone Coated Roofing and Westlake Royal™ Roofing Components product lines.

Two new cool rated colors will be introduced at Western Roofing Expo and both are part of the Unified Steel Stone Coated Roofing line, a lightweight option at just 1.5 pounds-per-square-foot that benefits from the structural strength of steel. Each new color provides high solar reflectivity and high thermal emittance when solar energy hits the roof surface, detracting sunlight and radiating heat off the roof surface. The colors exceed California Energy Code (CEC) Title 24 Part 6 Cool Roof Requirements and, with a Solar Reflective Index, or SRI, greater than 20, also meet L.A. County’s more stringent SRI requirements. The new hues, Harborwood and Stirling Gray, are offered in both PINE-CREST Shake and PACIFIC tile profiles.
 
In addition to the new cool rated colors, Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions will showcase expanded Unified Steel offerings onsite in the booth. The roofing leader’s other robust product lines will also be on display and include: U.S. Tile Clay Roofing Products, a legacy line of clay tile manufactured to the highest standard of sustainability and craftsmanship; Newpoint Concrete Roof Tile, a durable concrete line known for its superior strength and long-lasting beauty; and Westlake Royal Roofing Components, a range of integrated roof components designed to deliver a higher standard of roof installation and performance. 
 
Additionally, the Energy Efficient Cool Roof System, featuring Above Sheathing Ventilation (ASV) that helps achieve significant energy cost savings, will be showcased.
