Project description 

The Valencia is a beautiful condominium with four large roof terraces and several large balconies adorning the façade. Sika LAM Senior. Technical Sales rep Amanda Fuentes worked closely with specifier KWA and certified applicator SunCoastRestoration & Waterproofing to provide a 20-year balcony waterproofing system to match the exterior’s elegance. 

Project requirements 

The 20-year, Sikalastic-624 RoofPro system was selected for the warranty capacity and the ease of installation. Sikalastic RoofPro systems are seamless, liquid-applied, fully reinforced waterproofing/roofing systems which readily conform to difficult and elaborate details. The owners requested a Gemstone finish which was readily broadcasted into a thin topcoat of Sikalastic-624 for a simple, yet stunning walking surface. 

Project solution 

The Gemstone overlay on Sikalastic RoofPro membranes has since gained popularity in the surrounding area resulting in more Owners and Specifiers embracing the stellar combination. In addition to a Gemstone overlay, customers can also choose tile, Sika DecoQuartz, DecoFlake or Sika Flexcoat ATC overlay over Sikalastic RoofPro membranes for a long-term, waterproofing solution.
